Band conditions for our annual QRP Night at Emily Oaks September 11 weren't the best, but the weather was good and the socializing was great. Despite mediocre propagation, Don KK9H managed to get his 5w to an end-fed dipole heard across the pond in G-land on 40 meters, for an even greater distance/watt then his 2006 winning effort. Congratulations to Don, and to the other participants who lit up the bands that evening.
